The Women's SL Active is new for 2019 yet is set to turn heads out on the hills this season (and the next). It features a female-specific TML last shape and heel fit for all-day comfort with a softer nubuck leather cuff with cut out for extended support for your Achilles during long multi-day mountain missions. It's also packed it out with a new speed lacing system to keep the hold across the instep, whilst the lining offers instant comfort. Whilst it's comfortable inside, Scarpa has really outdone themselves with the outers. For all-day weather protection, the SL Active features the toughest and most water-resistant full-grain leather available within the Scarpa collection. The Vibram biometric trek sole will also aid traction, designed to support multi-day trips with a heavier backpack. Suitably warm in the colder months and compatible with C1 crampons, yet equally appropriate for warm weather walking out on the fells. To ensure all-day comfort, we recommend investing in some heavyweight socks from Icebreaker or Bridgedale.
