The Wildfire Edge is a technical approach shoe that can be switched from hiking mode to climbing mode.
The Salewa Switchfit system allows you to simply switch the shoe, simply tighten the laces at the rear eyelet and do them up. This pulls your foot forward into the toe box and compress your toes. Ready to climb or scramble. Then for the way back down loosen off the laces at the eyelet for more room in the toe box and enough comfort for an all-day hike.
The Pomoca Speed MTN sole has a precision climbing zone at the toe, great edging performance and aggressive lugs for improved grip in mud and soft terrain.
The Wildfire Edge comes with the Multi Fit Footbed plus (MFF+) which uses interchangeable layers so you can customise the fit to the shape of your foot.
