The Proton Pant is a mid-layer, lightly insulated trouser for a variety of mountain pursuits. Breathable, air-permeable outer fabric featuring four-way stretch, combines with Octa® Loft knit insulation, for unimpeded movement with a soft, comfortable fit. Lightweight and durable, Fortius 2.0™ performance polyester blend wicks moisture, for warmth and dryness, whilst a DWR treatment repels external moisture. Trim fit with articulation for mobility, these pants can be easily adapted for wear as an outer piece, or insulation within a layering system. For hiking, approaches and climbing, these versatile pants are fit for use in a variety of alpine environments. Comfortably compatible with a harness, with drop in pockets and an adjustable waistband, these pants are an Autumn/Winter climbing essential.
