What to wear for those chilly Spring days, early morning Summer starts and Autumn adventures, it has to be warm enough to pull on first thing but light enough to stash in a pack when the sun peaks through and be carried the rest of the day. Oh and breathable, stretchy, weather resistant, durable and stylish (well, why not!).
This is where the new Atom SL comes in. Designed around the incredibly popular Atom LT, the SL (Super Light) is, you guessed it, lighter; both in weight and insulation. Pull it on over a baselayer for the first few miles of your hike or the dawn walk in then roll it up and stick it in your pack once things heat up. Its comfortable when worn next to the skin, even when you're working up a sweat or in high humidity. The low bulk also makes it a great mid layer later in the day if the weather turns.
