Scarpa have been known for their hardwearing, comfortable and innovative footwear since the 1930's and each new design stays true to those traits. Founded in Italy, Scarpa's heart is in the mountains and they produce footwear up to the rigours of that environment. From ski and mountaineering boots to rockshoes via high altitude boots and all manner of walking and hiking footwear, Scarpa have honed their skills with the advice and guidance of expert bootmakers alongside top-end mountain athletes to deliver the best in footwear technology and style.
Many of Scarpa's leather boots are still made in Italy, with other production facilities in Romania and elsewhere, Scarpa are able to achieve the highest levels of quality through fantastic quality control and attention to detail.
Scarpa tend to have a slightly narrower last than Meindl or Keen but the introduction of Sock-fit technology in many of their newer models allows for a wider range of fit across several different foot shapes.
Scarpa rockshoes tend to have a high volume toebox and a fairly aggressive heel in some of the more downturned models.
As with all footwear it is best if you are able to try it in store before buying but if you have any queries regarding sizing, fit or our returns policy, don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll be happy to answer any questions.
To prolong the life of any footwear it is essential to care for them appropriately, check out our Care Guide for more information or check the literature of your individual boot.
